Singing Group
Hello everyone.
As you read in the last Newsletter your group is hoping to set up a singing group. I have been asked to run this and am very much looking forward to it. As this is a new venture, I would love it if anyone interested would come to an inaugural meeting to talk about when and how often we would like to meet and of course what songs we want to sing.

We have been invited again this year to Victoria’s for a picnic; The cost is £5.00 for a member and £12 for non-members. Swindon Parkinson’s will be providing a coach pick up for those of you who do not want to drive.
The coach pick up, as last year will be as follows west Swindon (at the coach pull in, outside the Ten Pin Bowling), the bus station Bay 17 and the pavement outside Matalan. Coffee Morning
Highworth Methodist Church Saturday 2nd April 2022
On the 2nd April there will be a coffee morning and craft sale from 10.30 – 12.00 noon at Highworth Methodist Church in aid of our Parkinson’s Group. Donations of a cake (or small cakes) would be much appreciated – please phone Anna 01793 695698 if you can help or need them to be collected.

Steam Craft Fayre
The group has booked a stall at the Steam Craft Fayre which is a two day event taking place on the 4th and 5th December. We are having a Tombola Stall on the Saturday and would welcome any donations of items for Tombola, i.e. unwanted gifts, quality items (big or small) bottles, games etc. On the Sunday our craft group ‘The Crafty Parkers’ will be selling home made crafts of all kinds. If you are able to knit, sew, paint, wood carve, make Christmas decorations etc. etc. – anything home made will be gladly received.
We will also be looking for people to help run the stall, i.e. come for a couple of hours on a rota. Please get in touch if you think you might be available over that weekend and we will contact you nearer the time.
