A claim for taxi fares can be made by a member of SPAG to attend exercise classes or socials organised by SPAG if they are unable to drive, obtain a lift from their carer or other person, or because their condition makes it not suitable for the member to travel by public transport if any is available.

The member or their carer should contact the membership secretary and request authority to make such claims explaining the relevant circumstances.

The membership secretary will consider the members circumstances and if necessary discuss it with a fellow volunteer. If the membership secretary is satisfied a claim is justified the member will be requested to make receipted monthly claims to the treasurer using the Groups expense claim form.
